Michaela works closely with product, development, and QA to ensure functionality works as intended. She is a key player in creating eLearning documentation and course creation.

Often, a pivot point in one’s life leads to that deciding moment, “I know what I want to do with my life.”  That moment came for Danielle when she served the Assisted Living industry, managing the medication delivery process in the late 90s. It became clear that there had to be a better solution for safe, reliable medication delivery, so she searched for a technological solution. This led to the introduction of Remote Automated Medication Dispensing. As a result, she became part of the team that invented, refined, and delivered the first-ever on-site medication dispensing robot in the long-term care industry. 

Danielle spent the next 20 years advancing to executive leadership at Advanced Pharmacy and Partners Pharmacy, where she most recently served as Vice President of Applications, Integrations, and Infrastructure. During that time, she led teams through the development and release of numerous products. In addition, she supported pharmacies through product development and technology adoption, workflow optimizations, and interface development that unlocked market growth. 

Her passion for being a part of a shared leadership team developing products that save lives and focus on excellent customer engagement drew Danielle to join the SoftWriters team in 2022, where the “Save Lives” mission and core values of believing Customers Determine our Success, believing we are Innovators, Thought Leaders, Teachers and that we must operate with unyielding integrity aligned with her desire to impact the entire Long Term care industry positively.

Mike Steffek joined SoftWriters in 2022 as vice president of Engineering. Mike has spent his entire career in healthcare technology, leading software development teams at companies like McKesson and Change Healthcare. He is dedicated to improving the healthcare system.

Rick Pollick is the Product Release Manager at SoftWriters, bringing over 15 years of experience in product management, Agile delivery, and organizational strategy across healthcare, scientific, and enterprise technology. He has led Agile and product delivery teams on large-scale initiatives, managing complex portfolios and driving improvements in system architecture, delivery efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. Since joining SoftWriters in 2024, Rick has overseen release operations, integrated automation workflows, and driven cross-functional alignment to support high-impact deployments. He regularly designs targeted processes and tools that accelerate delivery, reduce operational waste, and ensure traceable, measurable outcomes.

Rick has also served as an AI panelist for Harrisburg University’s Strategic AI Program, advising on practical, data-driven applications of artificial intelligence in product development. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State, an MBA from Waynesburg University, and is completing a Doctorate in Business Administration. Diane Pupa is a seasoned pharmacy professional with over 30 years of industry experience, specializing in IT systems and operational integration within long-term care settings. For the past 14 years, she has played a pivotal role at LI Script Pharmacy, a centrally located long-term care pharmacy serving over 135 facilities across New York State.Known as the “fixer” at LI Script, Diane serves as Project Coordinator and eMAR/technology integration specialist, leading cross-functional initiatives that streamline workflows and solve complex challenges. From pharmacy software conversions to new facility onboarding and EHR implementations, Diane is the point person for getting systems aligned, processes optimized, and teams coordinated. Her work ensures that both internal operations and client transitions run smoothly, on time, and with minimal disruption.

Miriam Cho, PharmD, currently serves as the President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at MAC Rx and MedScript overseeing pharmacy operations to over 300 LTC communities across 3 pharmacy locations. She is excited to have the opportunity to be an integral part of MAC Rx’s exponential growth since startup and currently services over 30,000 lives over 6 states in the Midwest. Nick Voelker joined SoftWriters in the fall of 2023 as an implementation project manager. He specializes in helping new pharmacies get started with FrameworkLTC setup and onboarding, drawing from his extensive experience as a pharmacist and former user of the software. With over 15 years in the pharmacy field, Nick has worked at prominent pharmacies such as Guardian, PharMerica, and Penn Highlands Healthcare, providing him with a unique perspective and invaluable expertise in the industry. He is a board-certified geriatric practitioner.

Paula joined Softwriters in 2025 and has over 35 years of experience in several areas of pharmacy. Previously she was with Rx Partners as the Chief Operating Officer for 10 years with responsibility of operational and financial success for multiple LTC pharmacies. Prior to her role as COO she held various positions, including Consultant Pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy Operations. Before joining Rx Partners and UPMC, her experience included home infusion, hospice, hospital pharmacy and sales for a pharmaceutical company. During her career, she has participated on several committees and panels including Advisory Boards, Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committees and Interdisciplinary Teams. Paula is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy.

Brad is the Application Support Manager at SoftWriters, bringing over eight years of experience and a deep understanding of customer needs and technical solutions. He began his journey at SoftWriters as a Support Analyst, quickly advancing to Team Lead. Today, Brad manages the Support team, ensuring customers receive timely, expert assistance and a seamless experience with SoftWriters' solutions.
